Francesco Ciulla is from Trapani, Italy.
After acquiring an undergraduate degree in Natural Science from The University of Palermo, he shifted his focus to the study of 3D, becoming an instructor on modeling, lighting and rendering, while also collaborated with architectural studios and animation projects. In 2013 he began studying character animation and 3D real time software.
He has worked on user interfaces for biomedical machines, renewable energy generators, creating interactive museum installations and retargeting to animation for videogames. Having met Gabriele Ciaccio along his professional journey, he decided to join him, alongside Madison Littlefield and Giorgio Ciaccio, in founding IslandVFX.
