CIACCIO.

Gabriele Ciaccio, native to Palermo, Italy attended the University of Palermo and completed a Masters of Conservation and Restoration of Cultural Heritage. Upon graduation he changed the direction of his interests moving to Vancouver, Canada to attend the Vancouver Film School for 3D Animation & Visual Effects. Upon completing the program, he moved to Montreal, Canada where he attended the MPC academy, and was offered his first position as a compositor. After 18 months with MPC, he accepted a 6-month position in London with Framestore, then returned to Canada where he worked for almost 2 years with Mr. X in Toronto, Canada. This is when he started to make plans to bring IslandVFX to life.

He has worked on productions such as Marvels Xmen Apocalypse, Doctor Strange and Fantastic four, as well as acclaimed series such as Vikings and A Series of Unfortunate Events.
